Fred Hampton

Fred Hampton was the young chairman of the Illinois chapter of the Black Panther Party. He was killed by Chicago police in a pre-dawn raid of thier home on December 4, 1969. It was later found that the police officers falsified evidence suggesting that the Panthers began the firefight when, in fact, they never had a chance to fire a single shot.

"You can kill a revolutionary, but you can't kill the revolution" -- Fred Hampton
