Noble Sissle
Noble Sissle was a famous lyricist and bandleader. He is credited, along with James Reese Europe for introducing jazz abroad during World War I when he served as conductor of the regimental band for the 369th Infantry Regiment, the first group of Black Combat Soliders to arrive in Europe and the first allied regiment to reach the Rhine.
