Does Alan Keyes believe he can stop president-elect Obama?

Alan Keyes and Reverend Wiley Drake (Keyes vice-presidential running mate in California) filed a lawsuit over Barack Obama's citizenship and eligibility to run for president. Basically, Keyes implies that Obama is not a native born U.S. citizen as required to be president. The lawsuit (Keyes v Bowen, Superior Court, Sacramento) can be found here: http://www.ballot-access.org/2008/WRIT-OF-MANDATE.pdf

Ha. He must be pretty teed off now that Burris might get the very Senate seat that Obama beat him to get.  If only he had been better friends with Blagojevich, then he might be the pick.

Can't jump the gun and say that Burris was picked simply because he is close to Blagojevich.  Further, wasn't/isn't Alan Keyes a Republican?

from CNN: "Burris has been a supporter of Blagojevich's since 2002. He and his wife have given the governor's campaign committee $4,500 over the years, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections, and his consulting firm, Burris & Lebed, has given the committee $9,000 in cash and another almost $1,800 in in-kind donations for postage, printing, cleaning and meals."  http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/12/30/burris.profile/

That totals to under 20K dollars -- much less than the tens of thousands he though he could get from others.
